If you're the kind of person who spends a lot of time building websites, then it stands to reason that you should know about the best way to control the size of your DVD cover. There are a number of different ways you can go about making sure that your movies look great when they're played on DVD, regardless of how many DVDs they have in the collection. The one thing that most people fail to realize, though, is that a DVD disc is just a CD in disguise. So, how do you go about making sure that your DVD covers are just right?
Your first option is to go with the standard DVD size. This is also true for Compact disks and even high-resolution P DVD's ( Quadra Hi-Resolution DVD). You can easily and rapidly put together your needed DVD cover using an embedded html editor, without wasting a ton of time looking for the right template online. After instructions, you'll get your next custom DVD cover ready: Another option for your custom DVD case template is to use a CD or DVD case maker software program. These programs allow you to make a CD or DVD case that contains your images as well as any other extra text or graphics you'd like to include. Some of these software programs cost a bit of money, but the result is often worth the price. Finally, your third option for DVD cover size, and probably the best, is to go with a built-in dialog box builder. These dialog box builders allow you to enter your value in the dialog box area of your image before the picture is loaded, so that the size you want is automatically determined. It's a really neat feature, and one that I find extremely convenient. All you do is point and click on your image, and the program will generate the image dialog box that you need. Then, just select the "copy" button, and you have a DVD case layout ready to print! The final option is to use a CSS based layout manager. These programs are available on most web browsers, and they are really easy to use. You simply point and click on your image, and your custom size disc cover is created automatically. It's very convenient, and very few people ever go out and create their own DVD covers using a CSS based layout manager. Your final choice for how to create your custom size DVD covers is to use the built-in viewer in your internet browser. You can simply point and click on your image, and your DVD case will be shown in a window that you can customize. Here, you'll see a preview of the cover on your computer screen, and it will have all your 'properties' defined, so you can change them as needed. If you like, you can even create a title for your DVD cover, and customize the rest of the information that appears in the dialog box. There are other programs that allow you to create your DVD label maker from your PC. One such program is the DVD Burning Wizard, and it allows you to create a dvd cover, copy your DVD disc, and burn it to a blank disc, all in just a few minutes. This is a great option if you want to make a large number of DVD covers, or if you want your DVD cases to look really unique. However, it's best to use a DVD burning program that is free to download and use - many of these websites that offer dvd burning programs charge a monthly fee for use. For me, this is a small price to pay for having the flexibility to create and edit as many DVD covers as I need. To burn your DVD covers, you'll need to open up your favorite file burning program, and select 'create new cover'. From there, you can do whatever you'd like to create your DVD label, including changing the title and colors to suit your preferences. Once you've done so, you're done! You're ready to ship your DVD movie copies to your friends and family, and have them enjoy them on DVD players that they've purchased.
